Privacy Policy
Last updated 30 July 2026
Dayspine is made by Exotix creators LLC ("we"), 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801-6317, United States. This policy explains what the app and this website collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What the app stores
Everything you log, and nothing you do not:
- Your profile: first name, sex, date of birth, height, weight, activity level and goal.
- Food you log, including photos you choose to analyse, and the resulting macros.
- Workouts, sets, weights and reps.
- Fasting start and end times.
- Daily mood scores and anything you write in the journal.
- Body measurements you enter, such as weigh-ins.
- Sleep, resting heart rate and activity read from Apple Health or Health Connect, only if you grant permission, and only read — we never write back.
Where it lives
On your device first. Dayspine works offline, and every entry is saved locally before anything is sent anywhere. A copy syncs to our database, hosted on Supabase in the United States, so that your history survives losing or replacing your phone.
Access is enforced at the database itself with row-level security: rows are bound to your account, and a request carrying anyone else's credentials cannot return them.
Meal photos
When you photograph a meal, the image is sent to our server, which passes it to Google's Gemini API to identify the food. The result comes back to you for confirmation before anything is written to your diary.
We store a fingerprint of the image and the analysis result so that re-photographing the same meal does not cost a second lookup. Google processes the image to return a result and, under its API terms, does not use it to train its models.
What we never do
- We do not send health data to advertising or analytics companies. Your weight, your macros, your body measurements and your journal are never shared with any advertising SDK or third-party analytics service.
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not build an advertising profile from it.
Accounts
An account is created for you automatically when you finish setting up, so your data can be saved without asking you for an email up front. That account has no personal details attached to it until you choose to sign in with Apple, Google or an email address.
Deleting everything
You can delete your account from inside the app: Profile → Delete my account. It removes your account and every row of data belonging to it from our database, and clears the copy stored on your device. It cannot be undone, and we do not keep a backup copy for ourselves afterwards.
You can also email privacy@dayspine.com and we will do it for you.
The waitlist on this website
If you enter your email address on this site, we store that address and the date, and we use it once: to tell you when the app is available. You can ask us to remove it at any time at privacy@dayspine.com.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or erase your personal data, and to object to how we process it. Email privacy@dayspine.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
Dayspine is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has given us data, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects how your data is handled, we will update the date at the top and notify you in the app before the change takes effect.
